ABOUT
Connor Babos is a graduate of the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, where he obtained a Bachelors of Music degree in Music Education and Jazz Studies. He has performed on the baritone saxophone in Rutgers Jazz Ensemble I and the Rutgers Mingus Big Band alongside guest artists such as Michael Dease, Claudio Roditi, John Beasly, and Eddie Palmieri. He was the principal bass clarinetist of the Rutgers University Symphonic Winds, principal bassoonist of the Rutgers Symphony Band, and a member of the Bacoustics (the Rutgers University bassoon ensemble). Connor performed at Super Bowl XLVII and before President Barack Obama at the Rutgers University 250th Anniversary Commencement. As a teacher, Connor has taught students of all ages and abilities, from beginning students to 1st-chair All-State students.
